Utilizing the Auxiliary Camera System in Large Classrooms (SC)

This guide is designed to assist lecturers and students in effectively using the auxiliary camera system installed in large classrooms. The primary purpose of this system is to capture content written on the whiteboard and display it on an additional TV screen. This setup ensures that students seated at the back of the classroom have a clear view of the lecture materials, thus enhancing their learning experience. This document will provide step-by-step instructions on how to operate the camera and TV display so that all participants can fully engage with the educational content, regardless of their seating position in the classroom.

Auxiliary Camera for Microphone Only Feature

  1. The "Microphone Only" feature integrates wireless microphone use with an automatic high-definition camera feed, highlighting whiteboard content in real-time. Selecting this option on the Control Panel activates the microphone for classroom interaction while automatically projecting the lecturer's whiteboard presentation onto the TV screen, ensuring a clear and engaging learning experience.
  2. When we want to use the camera, please select “Microphone only” in the panel. Then the signal of the TV will automatically change to the camera. After that, please turn on the camera with the remote control and press the button to select camera 1.
  3. The camera system has several preset positions designed to focus on specific areas of the whiteboard. To select a preset, just use the remote control and press one of the buttons labeled 1–9. Each button instantly adjusts the camera to its corresponding preset view of the whiteboard. The columns marked in different colors represent different parts of the whiteboard.

(The preset positions may vary slightly between different teaching buildings. And the remote controls in some classrooms are white.)
  4. To adjust the camera, aim the remote control at the camera and press the button. Except for the preset position, the camera angle can also be adjusted using the directional keys based on the situation.
