GTIIT Account MFA With Shudun OTP (数盾OTP)

    Some of Android phones in China mainland are restricted to use Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator, either these apps can't be found from phone store, or it shows error after scanning the QR code provided in GTIIT MFA setup procedure.  Shudun OTP (数盾OTP) is an alternative option for you.

    1. Open your WeChat on your mobile phone or tablet, search mini program Shudun OTP (数盾OTP) 


    2. You will be asked to set up your hand gesture for unlocking the mini program in future, set your own gesture


    3. On your computer where you are asked to set up Microsoft Authenticator, select I want to use a different authenticator app


    4. Click Next to continue


    5. Go back to your OTP mini program, tap the Red + icon on bottom-right corner


    6. Tap the option with camera icon to scan the on-screen QR code showing up on your computer.


    7. You will see a 6-digit code on your OTP screen. The setup has been successful.


    8. Next time when you are asked to provide your verification method, select Use a verification code then enter the 6-digit code showing up on your OTP mini program.
