Technion New VPN Instructions - Harmony SASE

The Technion has introduced a new SASE VPN service, a cloud-based Virtual Private Network, replacing the previous Ivanti Secure Client (Pulse Secure), which has been decommissioned. If you have a valid Technion email account, please follow the instructions below to configure your Technion VPN connection:

Please be aware that the CIS Software and Services Shop is accessible ONLY from the Technion LAN. To proceed, register at the CIS Software and Services Shop first. ***


  1. Download the Installer

    • Access the installer from our GTIIT shared center by visiting  Technion VPN Client Software.
    • Sign in with your GTIIT account to view and download the appropriate installer for your operating system.

  2. Installation & Configuration on Windows (as an example)

    • Double-click the .exe installer file and accept the terms.


    • Wait for the installation to complete, then click Finish.


    • Open the Harmony SASE application and click Sign In to Harmony SASE.


    • You will be redirected to the Harmony SASE web page. Enter the following:
      • Workspace URL: technion
      • Region: Select eu.sase.checkpoint.com from the drop-down menu.


    • Click Sign in with Microsoft and enter your Technion credentials. Complete the MFA verification (via phone or the Microsoft Authenticator app).


    • Once authenticated, you will be redirected back to the Harmony SASE app, where the connection to the Technion network will establish within a minute.


Since the Technion VPN service is fully managed by the Technion IT team, please contact them directly for any technical support.
