Web Print is a GTIIT printing service that lets you print from any device with a web browser, without installing printer drivers. Authorized users can print from their own laptops by uploading supported file formats (for example, PDF, DOC, etc) through a standard web browser. Access Web Print from the print system’s User Web Tools. Simply upload your document to the Web Print portal, and you can release it at any printer. It’s a super easy way to print on the go!
The

Before you print
- Make sure your device is connected to eduroam or GTIIT-SEC.
- Do NOT run any third-party VPN, proxy, or accelerator in the background. Web Print works only when you are directly on the GTIIT network.
- Web Print
is recommended for Windows, Linux, and most Android devices. Mac and iOS
work the same, and there is also a separate “Add printer on Mac/iOS”
guide.
Printing through the web portal
- In your browser, go to https://print.gtiit.edu.cn:9192/user
- Click
Sign in with Microsoft, then log in using your GTIIT email address (for
example, username@gtiit.edu.cn) and password.
- In the left
menu, go to Web Print tab. Click
Submit a job to begin the printing wizard.
- Select
the printer queue that matches the label on the GTIIT public printer where
you plan to release your job.

- Specify how many Copies you need, then click
Upload Documents
- Select a file from your device and click Upload & Complete. Drag-and-drop is also supported in most browsers.
- Stay on the
page if you want to see when the job status changes to “held in the queue”
and is ready for release.
Releasing your job at the printer
- Go to any GTIIT public printer on North or South Campus labeled Staff-ColorPrint-Q or Staff-Print-Q, depending on the queue you submitted to. Please follow the instructions at How To Use GTIIT Public Staff Printers (Multi-Functional Photocopier)
- Tap your GTIIT staff or PG Student card on the card reader, or manually log in on the screen with your GTIIT account.
- On
the printer screen, open the list of held print jobs, select your
document, confirm the details, and release it to print. Log out and
collect your printouts.
