Reset GTIIT/Technion Account Password If you Forgot The Old One?

    Both GTIIT and Technion have enforced MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) for all our GTIIT/Technion accounts. With this feature, you would need both account passwords along with either an SMS code or an Authenticator app to access your Technion account. Please follow the below steps to reset your password, if you already forgot the current one.

    1. Use a private browser window to access https://outlook.office365.com, enter your GTIIT/Technion email address


    2. Select Forgot my password


    3. Enter the characters in the picture and Next


    4. If you had registered your Technion account with both mobile phone and authenticator app, you will see following screen. Click Text to receive SMS code for creating a new password


    5. Intead, you can use Enter a code from my authenticator app option, open Authenticator app on your phone and input the 6-digit code popping up there.


    6. If neither your mobile phone nor the authenticator app shows up, please report your case to itsupport@gtiit.edu.cn, and we will engage the support staff to help with it.
